About Bidq

Decision-grade legal due diligence for property investors — before you bid.

Bidq turns auction legal packs into clear, investor-focused reports reviewed by SRA-regulated solicitors. Typically delivered in 24 hours.

Why Bidq exists

Built for the moment the decision has to be made.

Auction buyers face dense legal packs with little time to assess them. Errors are expensive and structural — restrictive covenants, retention clauses, missing searches, lease defects, planning exposure — and they are almost always priced in by the legal pack long before they are noticed by the bidder.

Full conveyancing is too slow and too costly for the bidding stage. Bidq fills the gap with a focused, solicitor-reviewed pre-acquisition review designed for the moment the investor needs to decide whether to bid, negotiate or walk away.

What Bidq actually does

One product. Three guarantees.

We read every page.

Every document in the legal pack reviewed in full — not skimmed, not summarised.

We translate it into a decision.

The report tells you what matters for bidding, ownership, finance and exit.

We do it in 24 hours.

For the moment of pressure that actually matters.

The review chain

Every report reviewed by SRA-regulated solicitors before issue.

Each instruction is taken into our intake system, the legal pack is indexed in full, and an initial document review is carried out against Bidq’s structured analysis framework. The draft report is then reviewed and signed off by a member of our solicitor review team against published editorial and review standards before it is released to a client.

No report leaves Bidq without solicitor sign-off. Authority sits with the firm and the standards we hold ourselves to — not with any individual reviewer.

Editorial and review standards

The standards every report is held to.

Bidq operates to documented standards. They are written down, they are reviewed against, and they govern what gets issued under the Bidq name.

  • Every report reviewed by an SRA-regulated solicitor before issue.
  • Document-grounded analysis only — every conclusion traceable to a clause, page or specific missing item.
  • Investor lens — every issue assessed for its impact on bidding, ownership, finance and exit.
  • Calibrated risk framework — red, amber, green ratings with consistent definitions.
  • Premium prose — no rough notes, no generic legal templates, no boilerplate.
The product, defined

What Bidq is — and what it isn’t.

What Bidq is

Bidq is document-based pre-acquisition due diligence, investor-focused, solicitor-reviewed. It is designed to give a buyer the information they need to bid, negotiate or walk away.

What Bidq is not

Bidq is not full conveyancing, not regulated legal advice, and not a substitute for instructing a solicitor on the transaction itself. This separation is the product strength, not a caveat.
